International Conference on POWER, INSTRUMENTATION, CONTROL AND COMPUTING (PICC 2020) Technically co-sponsored by IEEE Kerala Section, Industry Applications Society and Power Electronics Society
Track 3: PICC 2020
PICC 2020 is the third edition of the conference, which will be held online from 10th to 12th December 2020. The conference is coordinated by the Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering departments under the aegis of International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering Science and Technology (ICETEST 2020). The previous editions of the conferences PICC 2015 and PICC 2018 were conducted successfully. Also the previous editions received overwhelming response and good feedback from authors and participants. The third edition of International Conference on Power Instrumentation Control and Computing (PICC2020), is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Kerala Section, Industry Applications Society and Power Electronics Society. All the presented papers will be submitted to IEEE for publication in IEEE Xplore, which will be indexed in IEEE GlobalSpec, Web of Science, IET Inspec etc. 20% of the presented papers will be eligible for further review and possible publications in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications (SCI indexed).
Theme of PICC 2020
While more and more renewable energy resources are being explored to conserve the conventional energy resources, research and advancements are at full pace to make the planet earth carbon neutral. Electric vehicles and energy storage systems are other areas where a lot of research is taking place globally. Consequently, technology associated with Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Communications, Signal Processing and computing has witnessed major challenges and promising innovations. Growing demand in the area of automation has stimulated research works in the areas of instrumentation and control as well. The 3rd edition of PICC 2020 mainly focuses on the latest computing and control techniques applied to address the challenges that are faced by modern power systems, electric drives and industries to develop smart and energy efficient solutions for a better society and environment-friendly digital world. The main objective of the Conference, is to provide a platform for researchers, academicians and professionals from the industry from all over the world to present their research results and share their ideas and expertise. The conference also provides opportunities for professional networking and collaboration with other researchers. In tune with the above objectives, the organizing committee requests the pleasure of participation from researchers, practitioners, academia and all interested in the theme of “Power, Instrumentation, Control and Computing” by contributing research papers as well as by attending the conference.
